When a four-post or scissor makes more sense
Not every EV shop should default to two-post. If a large share of your work is battery pack inspection, undertray removal, and alignment, a four-post with a rolling jack changes the math. Drive-on means no lift-point hunting on unfamiliar EV chassis, the runways support the vehicle at the tires where the manufacturer intended, and a rolling jack gets wheels off the ground when you need them off. Mid-rise scissor lifts have a place too, particularly for tire and brake volume in a bay with low ceilings.
