A ten-bay store might run eight two-post lifts for daily flow and two four-post lifts dedicated to alignments and pre-delivery inspection. Bay Spacing and Clearance Nobody Warns You About

On paper, a lift footprint looks simple. In practice, service bay lift planning fails most often on spacing — not enough room between columns for a technician to open a door fully, or not enough clearance for a lift arm to swing under a neighboring vehicle.
