Common exclusions include damage from improper installation, damage from operator misuse (over-capacity loading, working on locks that weren’t engaged, using arms outside the rated swing), and damage from environmental factors (excessive corrosion, uncontrolled humidity, salt exposure). East-central Iowa shops usually don’t run into environmental exclusions, but they do occasionally run into installation exclusions when a lift was self-installed and the anchor torque wasn’t documented. Not every claim gets approved on the first pass.
