A lift bay site prep checklist is the single best way to avoid a wasted install day, and after years of installing two-post, four-post, and mobile column lifts across Iowa, we’ve seen almost every way a bay can catch a crew off guard. Slabs that look fine but crack under an anchor, ceiling joists nobody measured, breaker panels already maxed out, doors that won’t clear a raised vehicle. Every one of these is preventable with a walk-through before the truck ever shows up. Start With the Slab, Not the Lift

We also think about how vehicles will drive in and out once the lift is installed. A tight approach angle or a column placed too close to a support post can turn a routine pull-in into a daily headache for your technicians.
