The CLHM-125XF fits a shop that runs mostly passenger work but occasionally sees an F-350 dually or a diesel-conversion project rolling in. Total investment lands in the upper teens to low twenties depending on options, and delivered-installed timing runs about six weeks from order date.
Tier two shops usually have three-phase power available or are willing to add a phase converter for the CLHM series. The other reason to pick tier two is service radius: shops that also do fluid service in customer-supplied trailers or motorhomes need the heavier column class. Concrete, Floor Prep, and Site Considerations Before Install

Four inches minimum for CLMM-5000 loads, six inches for CLHM-125XF and heavier. The slab has to be flat within a quarter inch across the working area so the columns roll freely and stay square under load. Cracked, spalled, or crowned slabs cause the wheel forks to bind and the load to shift as the columns come up. Before quoting install, we ask for slab thickness, slab age, and a photo of the working area with a level laid across it.
Drain trenches, expansion joints, and floor drains all matter. A column caster crossing a wide expansion joint can bind if the joint is not filled or ramped. Trench drains parallel to the working direction are usually fine; drains perpendicular to how the columns roll are a problem. The southeast Iowa shop had two floor drains right through the middle of their intended bay, so we relocated the working area to a corner and the columns roll around the drains without issue.
