The Role — Straight

Show up at a customer’s shop with a lift on a trailer. Unload it, position it, anchor it into the slab, wire it up, commission it, walk the customer through the safety features, get their signature, drive to the next job. Two-person crew — you’ll usually be paired with an experienced tech, or after your paid training you’ll be the experienced tech leading a helper.

The actual work:

Concrete drilling and epoxy anchoring for two-post and four-post lifts.
Hydraulic hose routing and connection.
Cable routing, arm alignment, and safety-cam calibration.
Electrical hookup to customer-provided service (working with our electrical tech when needed).
ALI safety inspection on every install before the customer signs off.
Loading and unloading with forklift or overhead crane. Forklift certification is paid for by us if you don’t already have it.

What You Bring

Handyman-level mechanical ability. If you’ve built a deck, wired a garage, or overhauled a lawn mower, you have the aptitude.
Physical work capacity — you’ll be lifting, drilling, and standing for most of your shift.
Valid driver’s license. CDL a bonus, not required.
Willingness to travel a regional service area. Occasional overnights for larger installs.
Ability to read install manuals and follow a job sheet.

Pay

$18–$45/hr depending on experience. New hires with no lift-install experience start in the low-to-mid $20s during paid training. After certification and 6–12 months in the role, most crew members are in the high $20s to low $30s. Lead installers with 3+ years hit the top of the range. We also pay merit bumps for crews that install multiple lifts per day cleanly.

Full-Time or Part-Time
