The BendPak XPR-15 is the heaviest lift in the XPR premium 2-post line, rated at 15,000 pounds and built for shops that regularly service three-quarter and one-ton pickups, larger SUVs, and light commercial vans. When one needs service, ordering the correct bendpak xpr-15 parts the first time saves a bay day and keeps the lift on ALI-required inspection cycles. This guide covers the XPR-15’s defining features, common wear items, how to identify your exact revision, cable and cylinder service, arm-restraint parts, and installation notes. Call 800-674-9302 for a live look-up while you have the data tag in front of you.

What the XPR-15 is and how it fits in the XPR line

The XPR-15 is a 15,000-pound two-post lift built on BendPak’s premium XPR frame, which uses heavier gauge columns and a taller carriage than the XPR-10 and XPR-12 below it. Its defining feature is the combination of true heavy-duty capacity with the tighter footprint of a two-post frame — you get wheels-free service access on trucks that normally push you toward a four-post. That capability is what drives most of the bendpak xpr-15 parts demand: shops choose this lift specifically to work on heavier vehicles, and the parts most often replaced are the ones that carry that load.

Common wear items and inspection intervals

ALI-recommended inspection on a two-post lift is every 90 days, and the XPR-15 is on that same schedule. The fast-moving bendpak xpr-15 parts are equalizer cables, lock-ladder pawl kits, air-release cylinders and their fittings, arm-restraint gears and pins, screw pads, and cylinder seal kits. Annually: hydraulic fluid, hose inspection, and anchor bolt torque check. A two-post carries the whole vehicle load into the columns and through the anchors into the slab, so anchor and slab condition are not optional inspection items.

Identifying your XPR-15 the fast way

BendPak revised the XPR-15 during its production run and the serial number tells us which cable set, cylinder, and lock components to send. The data tag lives on the powerside column near eye level. Photograph it with the serial number visible and send it with your order — that is the single most reliable way to guarantee correct bendpak xpr-15 parts the first time. BendPak’s own Support > Replacement Parts page uses the same serial-based lookup, and our parts desk mirrors it. Symmetric versus asymmetric configuration matters on cables and does not cross-order, so note both when you send the tag photo.

OEM vs aftermarket parts

On a 15,000-pound two-post, we default to OEM or ALI-recognized equivalent on everything safety-critical: cables, arm-restraint gears and pins, lock pawls and ladders. There is no meaningful savings on aftermarket safety parts at this capacity and the liability math is against you. For non-safety wear like screw pads, hydraulic fittings, adapter rubber, and truck adapters, aftermarket equivalents can save real money without compromising the lift. The broader OEM-versus-aftermarket logic for this brand lives in the BendPak lift parts buyers guide.

Cables, cylinders, arm restraints, and locks for the XPR-15

A two-post lift equalizes the two carriages through cables running column to column. Retirement criteria on those cables are the same as any two-post — broken wires under a rag wipe, kinks, obvious corrosion at the terminations, unequal carriage travel — but the XPR-15 cables are heavier gauge than XPR-10 cables and do not cross-order. Replace as a pair. The XPR-15 cylinders are long-lived; most “cylinder problems” are seal kits or contaminated fluid, not failed cylinders. Arm-restraint gears round off when riders ignore the arm-lock ratchet on lowering — replace the gear and its pin together. Deeper theory is in our car lift cables guide, hydraulic cylinder for car lift, and 2-post lift parts guide.

Installation and service notes

The XPR-15 has to be anchored to a slab that is thick enough, level, and in good condition. BendPak publishes concrete specifications for the model and they should be treated as minimums, not targets. When you re-cable, level the carriages before the first lift under load, and cycle the lift several times to seat new cables. Clean, dry shop air at the FRL is required for the lock release circuit — wet or low air is the number one reason we get called for locks that will not release. On a lift this size, annual anchor bolt torque check is worth putting on the calendar. If any anchor shows corrosion at the slab line or the epoxy is breaking down, cut the anchor out and reset with fresh wedge anchors sized to spec before you put another heavy vehicle on the lift. That kind of preventive work is significantly cheaper than the alternative.

Sibling BendPak models to consider

If the XPR-15 is more than you need, the XPR-12 covers 12,000 pounds and the XPR-10 covers 10,000 pounds. If it is not enough, BendPak’s four-post HD-14 and heavier four-post lifts pick up where a two-post capacity tops out. Parts do not cross between XPR capacity classes — an XPR-15 cable is not an XPR-10 cable — but the service intervals and inspection logic are shared across the line. For the full two-post product logic see the 2-post lift parts guide above.

Ordering bendpak xpr-15 parts

Best order: photo of the data tag with model and serial visible, plus a photo of the broken part. From there we pull the right bendpak xpr-15 parts in a minute and ship stocked items same day. Browse the catalog at other aftermarket lift parts or search a specific part number in parts lookup. If a repair bill is climbing past the value of the lift we will say so honestly rather than write the ticket anyway. Call 800-674-9302 for a live look-up — we ship bendpak xpr-15 parts daily out of Iowa and the parts desk answers in person.
